At Whiteboard Educations, we strive to provide high-quality, affordable, and personalized educational experiences. While our sessions are carefully designed to ensure maximum value, we understand that there may be rare occasions where a refund or session rescheduling is required. This policy outlines the terms under which returns or refunds can be processed.
✅ Terms of Return -
- Learners may request a refund or session reschedule within 3 days of the scheduled class date.
- Requests must be made before the session begins. Refunds are not applicable after a session is completed.
- Refunds are only applicable for long term course packages that are purchased. Short Term Sessions and Monthly Subscription are Non Refundable
📌 State & Reason for Return -
a) Refunds may be issued under the following conditions:
- ❌ The session was not delivered or was cancelled by Whiteboard Educations.
- ⚠️ The class was rescheduled without proper communication or had technical issues on our end.
- ❗ The student was not able to attend due to genuine issues, and has informed us at least 4 hours before the session.
- 🚫 The course material or session did not match the topic description.
b) Please note: We do not offer refunds for:
- Missed classes due to personal issues without prior notice
- Partial dissatisfaction after attending the complete session
- Change of mind after registration
🔁 Process for Return / Refund Request

- Our support team will acknowledge your request within 24–48 working hours and guide you through the next steps.
- Include the following details:
- Student name and registered email/phone number
- Date and time of the session
- Reason for refund or rescheduling
- Screenshot of payment (if applicable)
💳 Refund Process
- If your request is approved, refunds will be processed via the original mode of payment (UPI/Wallet/Card) within 5–7 business days.
- In case of technical failure from the payment gateway, additional processing time may apply.
- If you prefer, the refunded amount can also be converted into Whiteboard Wallet credits, which can be used to book future classes.

This Privacy Policy also extends to our associated brands and subsidiaries, including:

- Education profile: grade, board, subjects, school, performance data (tests, assignments), class recordings (where applicable, with consent).
- Transaction data: course purchased, invoice details, payment status.
- Payment data: processed by our payment partners (e.g., Razorpay). WE does not store card or UPI credentials on our servers. Razorpay+1
- Technical & usage: device/browser, IP, timestamps, cookies/analytics, referral source/UTM, clickstream.
- Communications: queries, support tickets, feedback, survey responses.
- Marketing preferences: opt-ins for email/SMS/WhatsApp.
Under SPDI Rules, “sensitive personal data or information” (SPDI) includes financial information, health data, etc., and requires reasonable security practices, consent for disclosure, and limited retention.
Our services often involve minors (Grades 6–10). We obtain verifiable parental/guardian consent before processing a child’s personal data and before enabling direct communications with a minor. We primarily collect the parent/guardian’s contact details for enrolment, billing, and non-academic communication. (DPDP defines a child as under 18; draft rules require verifiable parental consent.)
- Service delivery: class onboarding, scheduling, evaluations, feedback, certification.
- Payments & billing: purchase processing, invoicing, refunds, and reconciliations.
- Customer support: responding to queries; troubleshooting issues.
- Performance & safety: academic analytics, quality control, fraud prevention, platform security.
- Legal compliance: tax/invoice records, law-enforcement requests per applicable law.
- Marketing (consensual): updates on courses, webinars, offers; you can opt out anytime.
- Consent: for optional data uses (marketing, class recordings where applicable, cookies beyond strictly necessary).
- Contractual necessity: to provide paid courses/services and support.
- Legal obligations: invoicing, accounting, KYC (where mandated by payment partners).
- Legitimate interests: platform security, service improvement, preventing misuse.
Until DPDP is in force, we follow IT/SPDI requirements on consent, disclosure, and “reasonable security practices.” Once DPDP is notified, we will align our notices, consent, rights handling, and breach-response accordingly
We share data with service providers under contracts that limit use to our instructions, including:
- Payment processing: Razorpay (checkout, risk checks, refunds). WE does not store your card/UPI credentials. See Razorpay Privacy and Buyer Privacy Notice. Razorpay+1
- Cloud & hosting/CDN: website, content delivery, backup.
- Comms & support: email/SMS/WhatsApp tools, webinar/meeting platforms.
- Analytics & marketing: tools for insights and opt-in communications.
- Legal/regulatory: law enforcement or regulators when required under law/court order.
Under IT/SPDI, disclosure of SPDI requires consent or lawful order; we implement contractual and security safeguards with partners.
We keep data only as long as needed for the purposes above, or as required by law (e.g., tax records). When no longer required, data is securely deleted or de-identified under documented schedules (e.g., inactive leads after X months; class recordings after Y months unless consented for longer).
Subject to applicable law, you may request to:
- Access your personal data we hold,
- Correct inaccuracies,
- Withdraw consent (for optional processing),
- Delete data that is no longer necessary, and
- Opt-out of marketing (email/SMS/WhatsApp) at any time.

We employ administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, follow “reasonable security practices” (e.g., ISO/IEC-27001-aligned controls where applicable), conduct access control, encryption in transit, and vendor due diligence. (SPDI Rules require “reasonable security practices”.)
We may disclose data when required by law/court order or to protect our legal rights, users, or the public. You can escalate unresolved concerns to our Grievance Officer (email above). (Intermediary Rules contemplate a grievance mechanism and timely resolution.)
Some classes may be recorded for quality, safety, and revision (if offered). We will notify and obtain consent (from parent/guardian) before enabling recordings for a cohort. You may opt out where feasible alternatives exist (e.g., turning off video, anonymisation).
We send service emails (transactional) and, with consent, promotional communications (email/SMS/WhatsApp). You can opt out via unsubscribe links or by emailing us. We also respect TRAI/DoT norms for commercial communications (DND/UCC).
Our website may link to third-party sites (e.g., payment pages, webinar tools). Their privacy practices are their own—please review those policies. For payments, see Razorpay policies referenced above

- To access certain services, you may be required to create an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.

- Prices for courses or services are subject to change without prior notice.
- Payment once made is non-transferable and subject to refund conditions mentioned in our Refund Policy
- All content — including text, images, videos, quizzes, assignments, course materials, and branding — belongs to Whiteboard Educations or its licensors.
- Users are granted a limited, non-transferable, revocable license for personal, educational use only.
- Any unauthorized reproduction, distribution, resale, or public display is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action under Copyright Act, 1957 and Trademark Act, 1999.

- No physical shipment is associated with the purchase of digital courses or online training modules.
- Access credentials, schedules, and updates will be shared via email, WhatsApp, or in-platform notifications.
- Instant Access: For most self-paced digital courses or pre-recorded modules, access credentials are typically shared immediately after successful payment.
- Scheduled Classes: For live courses or batch programs, joining links and schedules will be communicated at least 24–48 hours before the class commencement.
- Email Delivery: Check your registered email address, including the Spam or Promotions folder, for access details.

While our services are primarily digital, for select long-term courses or upon request, we may provide:

Shipping Process
- Timeline: Materials are typically dispatched within 7–10 working days after confirmation of the request.
- Courier Service: Shipments will be handled via reliable courier or postal partners.
- Tracking: Tracking details will be provided via email/WhatsApp once the material is shipped.
If physical materials are to be sent internationally (for long-term or custom programs), shipping times and costs will vary based on the destination. Any additional duties, taxes, or customs charges will be borne by the recipient.
In the rare case of:

For compliance with Razorpay requirements:
- For international buyers, orders are shipped and delivered through registered international courier companies and/or International Speed Post only. For domestic buyers, orders are shipped through registered domestic courier companies and/or Speed Post only.
- Orders are shipped within 0–7 days or as per the delivery date agreed at the time of order confirmation and delivery of the shipment is subject to the courier company / post office norms.
- Whiteboard Educations is not liable for any delay in delivery by the courier company or postal authorities and only guarantees to hand over the consignment to the courier company or postal authorities within 0–7 days from the date of the order and payment or as per the delivery date agreed at the time of order confirmation.
- Delivery of all orders will be to the address provided by the buyer. Delivery of our services will also be confirmed via your registered email ID as specified during registration.
